How it Works

Each day, December 13-24, 2011, Datz will post new giveaway prizes on our social media pages and blog. Just follow the instructions posted each day.

Drawings & Notifications

Datz will choose winners randomly from all entrants on both networks at the end of each day, unless otherwise specified. Simply check the blog at the end of each day to find out if you won that day’s giveaway!  To claim your prize, email heather@datztampa.com with your name, the prize you won and your address. Santa will ship it ASAP, or make arrangements for pick up at Datz.

Be Santa this Christmas Season

Datz has partnered with Hillsborough Kids this year to collect toys for the 2,000 girls and boys in Hillsborough County that are in foster care. This year’s campaign is an angel tree. Come down to Datz, choose an angel ornament from our tree and brighten a child’s Christmas! (See details below.)

Hillsborough Kids is an organization that oversees the care of approximately 2,800 children and teens in Hillsborough County due to abuse or neglect. This organization ensures the safety of these children, strengthens their family relationships, provides family crisis intervention, fights to prevent child abuse, coordinates diversion services with the Hillsborough County Sherriff’s Child Protection Investigation Department, offers independent living guidance for teens and assists with adoption placement.

Datz is proud to partner with Hillsborough Kids as they support Hillsborough County’s community of children by keeping them safe, happy and healthy.

Donate a Cell Phone Save a Life

It could be your sister, your mother, your best friend, your neighbor, your co-worker or the lady at the check-out counter… domestic violence happens to women everywhere. Believe it or not, it could even happen to a woman in your own life and you may never know because she is too afraid to speak up and ask for help.

This is a tough topic for the family at Datz because domestic violence took the life of one of our own. It shocked us all but sent an important message: domestic abuse can happen to anyone. That is why Datz is proud to announce that we are standing up to domestic violence by partnering with Verizon Wireless and The Spring. All this month, customers can donate an old cell phone to Datz in exchange for a free appetizer with the purchase of two entrées. In turn, for every phone donated, Verizon Wireless will donate $5 to The Spring, a domestic violence prevention and emergency shelter in Tampa. Stop by with your contribution today.
